Boys

Ethan surprised me by bringing home 3 LIVE CATERPILLERS yesterday. He said he looked for one more so we would all have one, but he didn't have enough time.

Boys boys boys. I hear it only gets worse from here. The caterpillers have been shown their new home....the tree Ethan planted a few weeks ago OUTSIDE.

UGH!

Happy Birthday Reece!!!!!!!!!

Today is Reece's 2nd Birthday!! I can hardly believe that he is already two! It seems like just yesterday he was born. All 9 lbs 2 oz of him. He is so funny and I cannot believe how much he has grown and changed. He definitely is one of a kind. I want to remember him just as he is now and never forget what a sweet boy he is at two.

He LOVES LOVES LOVES Ethan. Every morning as soon as he wakes up he asks for him and every night before bed Ethan has to come in and say his prayers for him and give him a kiss before he will get in bed.

He is a TALKER! I'm not sure where he gets that! :) He can say full sentences but the one he loves the most is "Mommy, I want to hold you!!!!" It is definitely not my favorite especially since it is usually when I am cooking or doing something around the house that would not require having a 30 pound guy hanging on my hip.

He loves to hide! If you ask for him to come he usually goes full speed the other way and makes you come look for him.

He likes to think that he is as old as his brother and often gets frustrated when he can't do the things the "big boys" can do.

He's still missing 2 teeth on the bottom that never came in not including the one he knocked out on top. He is the true definition of a snaggletooth.

He loves cars, trains, trucks and playing with all of his toys.

He knows all of his letters and loves to learn new things.

What great joy he has brought our family the last two years. I look forward to what this year with him will bring. I could not be more thankful!

Peer pressure

I have resisted getting any sort of Myspace or Facebook page simply because I don't have time and I really don't understand the purpose of those pages. I have looked at Myspace and I like looking at other people's pages, but didn't really think it was for me.

I say all of this because Scott OF ALL PEOPLE has gotten a Facebook page. Now he keeps telling me about all of the people that we know that have a page. Who knew?!??! You can just about search for anyone and sure enough, they have a page! I work very hard on being the "cool" one in our relationship so I had to sign up for a page. I can't let him pass me up in coolness.

Here's my dilemma. When you have these types of pages you have to have friends. I guess if you don't have any friends then there is no point in having a page, right?!? On my trusty blog I don't have to have friends. I like to get comments but don't always. I know I have people reading because when I slack off I get questions on why I haven't posted anything. What if I end up with only one friend being my hubby? (he hasn't actually 'accepted' my invitation as being his spouse yet either) Is this too much pressure?!?! A friend from college has 346 friends!!! I had to look at it several times to make sure I read that right. I'm not sure I know that many people. If I did, I could almost guarantee they wouldn't all 'accept' my invitation to be my friend. What if I get rejected as a friend. How embarassing will that be....sorry, Jen, I never really liked you that much in high school. OUCH!

While I think it is all very silly, I am going to give it a shot to see how it goes. I will keep you posted. Also on that note, if you have a Facebook page please at least throw me a bone and be my friend!

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They're baaaaaaaaack!!!! NKOTB were on the Today Show a few minutes ago (a special thanks to Shanda for calling to tell me)!!!!!!!!!

They will be performing LIVE on the Today show in May. They even played a clip of one of their songs. I'm not sure, but I think I can see myself jamming to that on the treadmill.

I'm wondering why I got rid of the following things:
T-shirts
Posters
Giant pin that I put on my jean purse

I'm sorry Jordan, you are still looking good, but I'm a married woman now. You should have snatched me up when I was 12 like I had dreamed.

Oh yeah, and Happy Birthday to Scott! :)
